Before you book
Frequently Asked Questions
A few quick answers about sessions, deposits, galleries, weather, and what to expect before reaching out.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. I’ll guide you through posing, movement, and small adjustments so the photos feel natural instead of stiff or forced.
How does the deposit work?
A $50 non-refundable deposit reserves your date and goes toward your total session cost. The remaining balance is due by the session date unless we discuss something different ahead of time.
Which session should I book?
If you want something simple and quick, a shorter session is usually enough. If you want more variety, outfit changes, movement, multiple looks, or a more creative direction, a longer session is usually the better choice.
How many photos will I get?
Each package includes a set number of edited final images. Depending on the session, additional images or full gallery options may be available.
When will I receive my photos?
Turnaround depends on the session type, gallery size, and current editing workload. I always aim to deliver finished galleries as soon as possible without rushing the final look.
What happens if the weather is bad?
For outdoor sessions, we can reschedule or adjust the location depending on the weather, lighting, and overall mood of the shoot.
Can I bring outfit changes?
Yes. Outfit changes work best for longer sessions, especially portraits, couples sessions, creative concepts, and artist promo shoots.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can happen in parks, open fields, city areas, venues, home locations, or another place that fits the mood you want.
Do you help with shoot ideas?
Yes. You do not need the whole concept figured out before reaching out. A rough mood, location idea, outfit thought, or goal is enough to start.
Do you photograph pets?
Yes. Pet sessions are paced around the animal’s comfort level, energy, and personality. The goal is to keep the session relaxed instead of forcing stiff poses.
